The camping ground is on your right once you drive into town. The town has various services you can choose from such as a swimming pool, grocery store, gift shop, post office, sailing among other.
The campsite is open all year round - The service house closes in September and does not reopen until the following summer - the toilets in the golf cub house are open all year round - an employee charges for facilities and assists guests - we also have a self serving payment is no one is in the reception.
The camp site in Stykkishólmur is well located and close to all services, shop, bakery, petrol and the swimming pool is in 5 minutes walk from the area.
From Stykkishólmur you can go - day trips to Flatey - visit the museums - go kayaking - go with Særún and see the islands and the bird life in Breiðafjörður - have a good walk up to Súgandisey and look over Breiðafjörður.
We also have a 9-hole golf course located next to the campsite where you can rent clubs - ideal for those who want to combine golf and camping (possibility to offer special packages for that)

The reception in the golf glub house is open from Ca. May 20 June -August 08:00 - 22:00, September as needed - you can always reach an employee.
